Get an Absentee Ballott

Please call us at 515-720-3495 or email Wayne at WFord14275@aol.com to obtain an absentee ballot if you will not be able to get to your designated voting place on June 3rd.


On-Site Registration

As of January 1, 2008, Iowa law allows you to register to vote on Election Day at the polling place for the precint you currently live in. You will need to show proper identifiction, (proof of residency and proof of identity - Iowa driver's license).

If you Iowa driver's licence has an old address on it, you can use the license as proof of identiy, but you will also need to provide proof of residency with one of the following, which will have your current address:

  • Residential lease
  • Property tax statement
  • Utility bill
  • Bank statement
  • Paycheck
  • Government check
  • Other Government document

If you do not have an Iowa driver's licnse, you can provide one of the following as proof of identiy if it contains your photo:

  • An out-of-state driver's license
  • Non-driver identification card
  • US passport
  • US military ID
  • ID card issued by employer
  • Student ID issued by Iowa high school or college
